About

Welcome to my site. It's still in development and new content will added as time permits.

I am a versatile and experienced project co-ordinator, who is currently looking to take on new challenges and build up a career in the world of cyber security. I have acquired first-hand technical skills, and I thrive under pressure. I have a great track record of providing solutions through problem solving, dynamic thinking and exceptional communications.

I have never been one to stand still and have always sought opportunities to grow, learn and experience new things. My journey through learning and developing in Cyber Security has enabled me to grow in ways I could not have imagined. I've become more engaging, reaching out to people in the community, contributing to discussions be it in chats, LinkedIn posts, mentor groups etc. I have pushed myself way outside of my comfort zone, not only with the amount of training but with creating Blogs and my YouTube Channel

YouTube Channel

RichintheCloud YouTube Channel

A channel all about IT and Cyber Security (possibly a dog) with various training and tutorial video's appearing on the basics and fundamentals of IT and Cyber stuff. We start small and progress!

I don't claim to be an expert (and I'm not by any stretch), just someone who loves IT and has a passion for Cyber Security and wants to share this passion and enthusiasm with anyone who wants to listen / watch..

Blog

It struck me that having a blog would be useful, not only to share my experiences with others who are also trying to learn and break into the field of Cyber Security (with hints, tips, issues encountered and solutions found) but to showcase my progress, experience and skills to potential employers.

Here I'll be looking to share experiences with training courses / certs, training platforms and security tools that I've taken or used. Talking about how I found them, what I gained from them and any issues / difficulties I came across, along with how I over came them.

I'll also share projects I've completed or am working on with updates and hopefully some write-ups of how others can do the same or similar, discussing what went well, what didn't and what ended up in the recycle bin.
